Before you enter the art exhibition the next time, take a deep breath before you step in.

Stop at the entrance for a moment. Stand still, close your eyes and take a deep breath.  Quieten yourself, clear your mind of lingering thoughts on earlier events, and focus yourself on where you are now.
You are now in the best frame of mind to enjoy the paintings.
